To strengthen its retail presence in India, Italian lifestyle and fashion brand Gas has opened a franchisee store each at Mega Mall and Oberoi Mall in Mumbai.
Speaking to media at the launch, Zohair Officewalla, COO, Gas India, said, “Opening of stores at promising and premium retail avenues will make the brand popular in the country.”
The store at Mega Mall, Andheri, covers an area of over 1,700 square feet, while the other one at Oberoi Mall, Goregaon, is a 1,500 square feet outlet.
Discussing plans, Officewalla said, “We are also planning to launch one more franchise store in Ahmedabad in May 2008. Gas is looking to partner more selected business associates who share its commercial strategies and values.”
