Pavers partners Reliance Footprint to enter India

Pavers England Footprint, the UK-based footwear brand, today announced its entry in the Indian retail market through a tie-up with Reliance Footprint, the footwear retailing format of Reliance Retail Ltd.

Reliance Footprint will also retail Flyflot, an Italian footwear brand.

“Reliance Footprint is excited to bring the products of Pavers England and Flyflot from Italy in India. This will make us provide a wider range of products to our customers,” said Gopalkrishnan Shankar, chief executive, Reliance Footprint Limited.

According to the company, the Pavers and Flyflot range of footwear will be targeted at fashion- and value-conscious Indian consumers, and will be available at all Reliance Footprint outlets across India.

Pavers is setting up its design studio in Chennai at an investment of USD three million. Commenting on the sales expectation, Stuart Paver, president & chief executive, Pavers England, says, “We expect sales to touch USD10 million in three years’ time.”

Reliance Footprint retails over 40 international and national brands.

At present, Reliance Footprint operates three stores across India, with a store each in Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Delhi. The company plans to have a pan-India presence by opening over 35 such large speciality stores across metros and mini-metros within the next 12 months.
