Speciality Group to expand its restaurants chain

Speciality Restaurants Pvt. Ltd, which owns five popular food and beverage brands, has planned to expand its restaurant chain by launching 100 restaurants in India by March 2009.

Based on ‘quick service’ concept for malls, the company recently opened its first ‘Flame and Grill’ restaurant in Kolkata.

Addressing the media at the launch, Debashish Ghosh, senior business manager, Speciality Restaurants, said, “We are setting up several new brands and will think of expanding our network to all corners of the country. The company has planned to launch 14 new restaurants by March 2009.”

The Rs 150-crore Speciality Restaurants operates 36 restaurants under various brands including Mainland China, Calcutta, Sigree, Mostly Kebabs, Haka, Kix, Just Biryani, Sweet Bengal, and Oh!
