    Walt Disney to expand stores


    is planning to open 150 stores in India by next three years.

    , regional director, , said in an issued statement, “India is a high-priority market for us, and we plan to open 150 stores for our consumer products by 2011.”

    The company has entered into a franchise agreement with Delhi-based Devyani International Limited (DIL) to operate Disney Artist stores in India.

    DIL runs and chain of restaurants and also holds the Indian franchisee of UK’s Costa Coffee chain.
