Understanding the potential of airport retailing, Nirula’s launched its second Nirula’s Express, the company’s quick-service restaurant, at the Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi.

Spread across over 100 square feet, the outlet is at security hold area where passengers wait for flights. The first Nirula’s Express in Delhi airport was introduced in January this year. The outlet will offer takeaway fast food items, beverages and icecreams.

Announcing foray into the new retail format, Samir Kuckreja, MD, Nirula’s said: “Introduction of Nirula’s Express, food court unit and ice cream kiosk formats is a strategic decision to make the brand more accessible to customers. Nirula’s new retail formats aim to maximise penetration among high traffic locations.”
