The company which already has 38 retail showrooms in 36 cities across the country, opened a store with a whole new range of products.
“There are three products lines that have been made available for the city outlet, named Sahara Care for FMCG products, Sahara Sport for fitness and leisure goods and Sahara Select, a collection of home decor products, handicrafts and garments,”said, Kriti Kumar Ganguly, an official of the product division, Sahara India.
Sahara also introduced a loyalty card, Privilege Card Yellow, to be issued for any purchase of Rs 1000 and above.
The holders of the card would get a point equivalent to Rs 3 for every purchase of Rs 100, and in the subsequent purchase they would get a rebate against the number of points won.
In a statement to the media, Kumkum Roy Chowdhury, head, Sahara India product division said the company would be issuing the card to first 200 buyers for any amount of purchase and in the next two days, for the purchase of Rs 800 and above.
