In a move to strengthen its position in the market, real estate major Taneja Developers and Infrastructure (TDI) has appointed. Arun Anand as the Chief Executive Officer for the group.
Anand brings with him an experience of over 28 years with his last assignment being with Federal Goetze India Limited as its Vice Chairman, Managing Director (MD) and CEO. Federal Goetze India Limted is a subsidiary of the U$ 6.4 Bn, Federal Mogul Corporation, USA and is a leading Auto Ancillary manufacturer.
A Chartered accountant with an executive MBA from University of Leeds, he has worked with leading corporate houses like the Escorts Group.
Anand is credited for the successful financial turnaround of Goetze India Limited and has been instrumental in various joint ventures of the Escorts Group.
Announcing his appointment, Kamal Taneja, Managing Director, TDI, said, “We are extremely delighted to have a person of his caliber on our board. His vast experience and knowledge will help us infuse fresh management ideas and provide further thrust for our expansion plans. We intend building a strong professional team for the management of the company and are in the process of further strengthening our senior management team.
Anand who is co-promoter of Akme Projects Limited has undertaken over two million sq feet of housing projects in Bangalore and Punjab and said “the Indian real estate industry is undergoing phenomenal changes and has reached the maturation phase.
