Reebok has opened its largest, and the fourth exclusive, Reebok Arena store in Colombo. Sprawled across 3,000+ square feet on two floors, the new Arena retails sports and fitness footwear, apparel, accessories and fitness equipment. It also sells Reebok’s famous Fish Fry collection, a product of a partnership with designer Manish Arora.
“A few years ago we undertook the challenge of opening a new store every week in India. Sri Lanka is a smaller country, so the growth cannot be comparable, but we do look forward to a similar growth in ratio to its population,” Subhinder Singh Prem, Reebok’s MD for India, told the media.
The event also saw the launch of the Reebok Pump Paris Trainer, the first and only Reebok shoe that marries the best of Reebok technologies to enhance both upper and lower foot comfort.
In 2004, Reebok tied up with DSI Samson Group to set up its first exclusive store in Colombo. At present, the company runs four stores including a duty-free shop, which was opened in February 2006 at the Bandaranaike International Airport in Colombo. The brand is also retailed through select DSI outlets across the island.
Reebok India recently celebrated the launch of the exclusive ‘Fish Fry for Reebok’ concept store in Delhi.
