Reliance Retail is planning to up the ante in food and grocery retailing. The retail giant plans to sell packaged cut fruits and vegetables required for making specific regional delicacies like Rasam and Pulav. The customer can buy ready-to-cook fruit/ vegetable combination, which the company says is a value addition for the customer.
The company feels that cut fruits and vegetables will simplify the cooking process and help the young working couple save time. The company unveiled this plan at the launch of the Fresh store at Ahmedabad.
