Landmark Group plans roll-out of 40 Emax stores

Dubai-based Landmark Group is going to invest more than Dh500 million for rolling out over 40 electronic retail outlets across the GCC and India, in next five years. The company has of late ventured into consumer electronics retailing under Emax brand.

The Landmark Group has eight Emax stores across the GCC countries at present. The company is looking to expand at other venues, including a possible entry into the Indian market by 2009. In December 2006, Landmark Group rolled out a multi-level Emax Big Box store, the largest multi-branded consumer electronics store, in the Middle East. The store has about 300 brands on display and over 100,000 electronic, digital and electrical products.
