Sam’s Club Brazil, a division of the Wal-Mart Corporation, is expecting to post Christmas sales up by 30 per cent compared to last Christmas trading period. Experts believe that besides its great range of prestige wines, gourmet foods and upmarket deserts, favourable exchange rates has enabled the chain to maintain low prices for imported products. The chain will be running a promotion on whisky in collaboration with Diageo, offering free gifts with selected purchases.
