We will be exploring various retail formats such as shop-in-shop to grow our penetration to the high end consumers as our next set of plans."

Initially, the company is targeting the Northern region of the country---Delhi/NCR, Chandigarh, Ludhiana, and Jalandar. Sanjeev Wadhwa, Country Manager, India said that the Northern region is being targeted as there the market and customers are open to new foreign brands. He added that gradually, the brand aims to have a pan-India presence.

Jan Henderson, High Commissioner, New Zealand, said: "The prime ministers of both the countries are going to meet next year and there can be mutual Free Trade Agreements between the two countries to allow more brands to enter the Indian market. The deal is in the process."
