Rajiv Handa moves to Welspun Retail as CEO

Rajiv Handa, former Sr. Vice President & Head Retail at Reliance Communications, is moving to home improvement retail company Welspun Retail as its CEO. At Reliance Communications, Handa headed the company’s retail function – he spearheaded the exclusive branded retail business and the organised retail vertical.

Prior to Reliance, he successfully built and led the exclusive retail foot print for TATA Indicom.

Handa's 20 years-plus career across national and regional retail and franchising positions is showcased by his success in set-up of teams, managing national operations, set-up of country-wide retail footprints, and establishing profitable businesses from scratch. He has a rare blend of experience across setting up start up projects, and leading large scale operations in several disciplines.
