It is one of the most eagerly anticipated awards of the shopping centre industry. The first day of India Shopping Centre Forum (ISCF) 2009 culminated with the Images Shopping Centre Awards 2009, given in recognition of excellence in shopping centre development in India.

Speaking on the occasion, Amitabh Taneja, chief covenor, ISCF 09 congratulated the winners for playing a pivotal role in the growth of the shopping centre industry in India and said, “The winners have set industry benchmarks and we are confident that retail in India will witness tremendous growth with their contribution.”

While Select CityWalk, Delhi bagged the most admired shopping centre of the year in metros’ category, Treasure Island, Indore and Forum Mart, Bhubaneswar bagged the award in mini metros and tier II category respectively.
