Birla Cellulose- leaders in manufacturing Viscose fibre from the house of Aditya Birla Group- in association with Ludhiana Knitters Association organized a wholesale meet in Ludhiana, attended by experts from the knitting, processing and garmenting industry.
The meet started with the inaugural speech by Ajit Lakra, president, Ludhiana Knitters Association and CMD of Superfine Knitters. Firstly, Aseem Doda, vice president of Birla Cellulose, spoke about the Aditya Birla Group and the Global Textile industry. Which was then followed by a speech by B.P. Nalawade about business scope of the products in textile applications. Then the “New arrivals – Autumn Winter 2015” in various fashionable blends and Amicor & Pilbloc developments as user friendly applications were introduced.
Pratibha Syntex displayed a wide range of knitting and woven Birla Cellulose products for customers. While Suneja Textile and Gokultex caught the eye of customers with their woven Modal Prints collection . In the bilateral discussion with business partners, various hurdles and remedies were discussed over the meet like processing stability, Chinese impact and opportunity identification.
