The Garment Manufacturers and Wholesalers Association (GMWA) hosted its 16th garment fair in Hyderabad on July 12-13, 2014. Held at the Classic Gardens, Balamrai, Secunderabad, the 35,000 sq.ft. venue accommodated 4,064 participants.
The garment fair aims to provide a platform to cater to garment retailers within Aandhra Pradesh, Telengana and neighbouring states. Hence, the event saw exhibits from manufacturers and distributors of kids wear, ladies wear, mens wear and hosiery, who also displayed their latest range of apparels for retailers from throughout Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, part of Karnataka and Maharashtra.
The chairman of the GMWA garment fair congratulated participants for their contribution toward making the fair a success. He said “It is indeed with a great deal of pride and satisfaction that I look back on the 16th Garments Fair 2014 of Hyderabad. The biggest ever Garments Fair of South India, the largest number of participants, the largest ever retailer turnout and from all reports received, a good amount of order bookings done. What can one say except well done and congratulations.”
