TataCLiQ delivers iPhone 7 within minutes of launch

Must Read

TataCLiQ.com claims to have managed to deliver the iPhone 7 within five minutes of its launch. The company says few select consumers across Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore received the iPhone7 in no time since the site follows what it calls the phygital model.
In the phygital model customers opted for the CLiQ and PiQ option while placing the pre-order on the portal. This allows the buyer to order online from the marketplace and picking it up physically from a store, which in this case was Croma.
“It is a big honour and priority for us to deliver delightful consumer experiences at Tata CLiQ. Our consumers have shown great interest and high rates of adoption in our phygital proposition as compared to competition and these kinds of experiences give an opportunity to build a bond with our consumers and most importantly understand them better. After all, it’s all about delivering authentic brand experiences at the end of the day which is our core brand proposition,” said Chief Executive Officer, Tata CliQ, Ashutosh Pandey.
According to the company, “The 134 days of launch, business numbers have been extremely encouraging. It has been among the select few e-commerce players to get Apple iPhone 7 on board for pre-orders plus a Rs 10,000 cash-back deal with HDFC.”
Incubated by Tata Industries Limited, Tata CLiQ is a new venture that is focused on developing a differentiated e-commerce proposition. It offers a wide range of authentic and exclusive brands across apparel, footwear and electronics with a plan to add many more categories and brands in the near future. Through Tata CLiQ’s phygital platform, shoppers are now able to order, collect, return and exchange products from anywhere, anytime – either online or at brand partners’ stores.
