It is not everyday that one gets to see a millionaire businessman doning a delivery boy’s hat, but for homegrown e-commerce major Flipkart, it has become quite a ritual.
Last year, Flipkart co-founders Sachin Bansal and Binny Bansal (not related), landed at the doorsteps of some Bengaluru-based customers to deliver products which had been ordered online in a bid to gain insights into the online buyer’s psyche by striking some great conversations.
This time around, the head honchos again turned delivery boys to both surprise their customers and gain firsthand experience of what consumers feel about brand Flipkart.
Where Chairman and Co-founder Sachin Bansal zeroed in on tier-II and III towns like Chandigarh and Punjab, Co-founder and CEO Binny Bansal took to Bengaluru to deliver the iPhone 7.
