Dodo Deliveries rebrands into Jugnoo Delivery, plans expansion

B2B logistics service Dodo Deliveries has rebranded into Jugnoo Delivery. Started in mid-2016, the service is currently operational in 13 cities across India, including major metropolis like Delhi and Bengaluru.
The venture is a part of Jugnoo, a mobile app-based auto-rickshaw aggregator and a leading player in B2C domain in Tier II and Tier III cities.

With firm focus on a holistic business expansion, Jugnoo is now all set to capture the B2B domain in Tier I cities along with its existing market, and plans to launch Jugnoo Delivery in Chennai and Hyderabad within a month. The service is already available in cities like Chandigarh, Gurgaon, Noida, Indore, Faridabad, Surat, Jaipur, Pune, Nagpur, Bhopal, Udaipur and counting.

“Capturing these geographies, in a span of mere two months, is quite an achievement for the team. Apart from this, what adds to our joy is the ability to stay true to our commitment, amid the cut-throat competition in the logistics segment, while maintaining our focus on the rest of expansion process,” Samar Singla, Founder and CEO of Jugnoo, said.
Besides rebranding, the service has also been integrated with PetPooja serving around 1700 restaurants and QSR bigwig – Burger King, for its delivery services. The move also marks the expansion of Jugnoo’s recently launched ‘Web Booking’ feature since Jugnoo Delivery has been added to it, taking the service to the web. From now on, users can not only make bookings through mobile, but also through Jugnoo’s booking API, which allows vendors to directly book a delivery through their POS system.

“After the launch of our integrated app, it was time we graduated from our mobile-first approach, expanding our horizons to the World Wide Web. Being present on Web gives us a holistic digital presence and the idea is to widen our target audience, increase our brand visibility and be available on all digital platforms,” expounded Singla.

Besides its core business of auto-rickshaw aggregation, the company is also expanding across other verticals of hyper-local logistics in B2B and B2C domains with its recently launched services like Fresh, Meals and Jugnoo Delivery.
