LeEco, the Chinese internet and technology conglomerate, sold more than 70,000 superphones, 2,000 Super TVs and close to 20,000 accessories — crossing over Rs 100 crore mark — in the first-ever “EPIC 919” shopping festival in India.
LeEco kicked off the global online shopping festival on September 19 on both LeMall.com and Flipkart, which had to be extended by 24 hours on user demand.
“The user response has helped us exceed our target sales figure and notch up a Rs 100 crore plus record. We remain committed to extending similar rewarding deals on our ‘Super’ products in the future as well to our swiftly expanding user community,” said COO of LeEco India, Atul Jain, in a statement.
“From being the launchpad for the brand in India, Flipkart is currently working with the LeEco team to significantly expand their market share. Through this journey of hyper growth, LeEco has been part of few record sale events at Flipkart,” added Vice President-Mobiles of Flipkart, Ajay Yadav.
As part of the shopping festival, LeEco extended never-before discounts and deals on its “Superphones”, Super TVs and accessories.
LeEco’s 919 online shopping festival is hugely popular across the globe.
In China, LeEco successfully sold more than 866,000 Super TVs and 1,178,000-plus “Superphones” during “919” this year.
