Intex Technologies, Indian mobile & consumer durables company, has strengthened its presence in North India with the entry of its branded retail store – Intex Smart World in Punjab, Chandigarh.
With this, Punjab became the 8th state in North opening the 41st store in the region. This initiative of opening exclusive brand stores was taken only 17 months ago. Intex Smart World in North region has footprints in Delhi, Haryana, UP (West), Uttarakhand, J&K, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan.
The 400 sq ft Smart World store was inaugurated in the presence of Intex officials and the franchise owner.

“Intex is already an accepted and loved brand in Himachal Pradesh, Haryana & Punjab and to enhance consumer experience, we are coming up with Intex Smart World, which showcases entire range of consumer electronics, speakers, mobile phones, accessories under one roof. We are in expansion phase and will have our footprints in every part of Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and Haryana region soon,” DGM, Retail, Intex Technologies, Vishal Malik said.
Intex Smart World began its operations in April 2015 as part of continued efforts in strengthening retail presence and engaging consumer experience. These exclusive outlets are single touch points to experience the wide range of Intex products through super quality demo by trained quality staff. Currently, Intex has 80+ smart world stores covering 60+ cities and 21 states across the nation.
With this, Punjab became the 8th state in North opening the 41st store in the region.
