Dabur changes subsidiary name to Dabur South Africa

Homegrown FMCG major Dabur has changed the name of its newly acquired step down South Africa-based subsidiary Discaria Trading (PTY) Ltd to Dabur South Africa (PTY) Ltd.
According to a PTI report: On July 14, 2016, Dabur International, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Dabur had completely acquired Discaria Trading, a firm engaged in manufacturing and trading of cosmetics, for an undisclosed amount.
“The name of the company’s said step down wholly owned subsidiary has been changed to Dabur South Africa (PTY) Ltd,” Dabur informed BSE.
Discaria Trading was incorporated in March 2015.
“It has been acquired to do the business of manufacturing and trading of cosmetics products in South Africa,” Dabur had said earlier.
