Spencer’s celebrates International Day of Yoga

Spencer’s retail, the most preferred shopping destination in the country, celebrated world’s second International yoga day and conducted yoga sessions for its shoppers to promote healthy lifestyle through the practice of yoga. Customers were given free tips on yoga, pranayama and mudra therapy that suits them on the basis of their present body needs.
“We are very happy to organize yoga sessions for our shoppers and spreading awareness about this great practice that originated centuries ago. In our endeavor to promote good health and wellness, we conduct various activities in our stores from time to time for our shoppers. We invite experts from various fields to offer free guidance on health, beauty, wellness etc. and offer holistic solutions for fine living.” said a spokesperson at Spencer’s Retail.
Shoppers were given individual advice on postures (asanas), breathing techniques (pranayama), and hand mudras on common lifestyle ailments prevalent today such as hypertension, diabetes, arthritis etc.
“Our customers are very important to us and we would like them to feel special when they shop at our Hyper stores. We will organize yoga sessions for our shoppers in our top 20 Hyper store locations across various cities such as Gurgaon, Kolkata, Belur, Siliguri, Lucknow, Hyderabad and Baroda on June 21 and June 22” said General Manager – Merchandising (HWP), Spencer’s Retail Ltd,  Sanjeev Nagi.
