AskmeBazaar to add food and pharmacy in portal

Must Read

India’s great premier online bazaar, Askmebazaar.com is known for its Ask Me Bazaar deals in electronics, apparels, home decor etc. Very soon it is going to add another feather to its cap as AskmeFresh and Askme-Meds.

AskmeFresh will be a delivery marketplace for fresh food quite similar to Amazon-Now, BigBasket and PepperTap. Askme-Meds would be a pharmacy and health space much alike Pluss, 1mg and mChemist.

Last year, the company had acquired the grocery portal BestAtLowest and merged it with AskmeGrocery.

Established in 2012, the company is planning to make these portals live in another three months. It will cater to customers in around 38 cities, where they can order daily requisites like food items from neighbourhood retailers and store chains, also medicines from the local chemists.

Askmebazaar’s move has come at the time when leading portals like Flipkart, Ola, Paytm, Grofers and Peppertap are on the verge of winding up their grocery services.
