Must Read

Huawei, Chinese telecom equipment manufacturer, is planning to apply for single-brand retail licence in India. It is also mulling over to start the production of smartphones in India itself.
The phone vendor will be selling its smartphones through its own online portal for India named, hihonor.com. It will be followed by selling other consumer products. However, it will continue selling its devices with its existing online partners – Flipkart and Amazon.
If it does apply, Huawei will be the third brand after Apple and Xiaomi to take this retail route.
Huawei will be launching a new flagship smartphone in the premium segment. It has also got badminton star Saina Nehwal on board as a brand ambassador.
Nehwal will also be seen on the company’s online site, which will offer initial discounts to customers as it begins selling Honor smartphones, besides the Nexus series, from April 8.
