After the success of the recent Great Indian Festive Sale, Amazon India will start a three-day sale marathon called the Great Indian Diwali Sale from October 26, which the company says will be an even bigger event.

The Diwali sale will offer customers a 72-hour deal marathon, with new deals every 30 minutes across hundreds of categories and crores of products, Amazon India said in a statement. Customers can shop from their computers, mobile phones or mobile apps. “We want to delight customers across India with a seamless shopping experience that is not only easy, convenient and fast but also interesting, value-driven and relevant,” said Samir Kumar, VP-Category Management at Amazon India.
In line with the “Pehle App” offerings on Amazon.in, customers shopping on the Amazon App will get additional cashback from Citi, 15 minutes early access to top deals and they also stand to save money on specially curated app-only deals. This time, it is also launching a dedicated Gifts Store offering customers the widest range of gifts to choose from for their loved ones across all age groups.

Amazon.in’s premium delivery services including morning delivery will ensure that shoppers get their products on time, he said. Online marketplace Snapdeal said earlier it will continue its festive sales every Monday until Diwali.
