Home improvement retailer Spacio to open over 10 exclusive stores

Leading home improvement retailer Spacio has recently launched an exclusive store in Surat. Located in Bhatar Trade Centre, the exclusive outlet covers 3000 sft over two levels.
The store is specifically designed to cater to the city’s growing demand for high end luxury decor and complements.
“The aim of the store is to invite the customers to walk in and witness the beauty of the handpicked collection and get inspired by it. We have brought in the most celebrated design brands from all over the world and our idea is to let the customer experience these masterpieces. The store is not just a home decor destination; it has been created to provide a unique experience to the customers that would inspire their imagination,” explains Spacio Creative Head & MD Navin Kanodia.
The store showcases collections from 20 international brands, exclusively distributed in India by the parent company, S.T.Unicom Pvt. Ltd. Some of the international brands in the store are Artisan House, USA; Haoshi, Taiwan; and Nomon, Spain, among others.
“Surat was a choicest location for us as consumers here are extremely modern in their outlook. They appreciate the global trends and practices. Our collection features a gamut of design influences and trends particularly brought in from Europe and US. The new generation here would love our collection of high end luxury brands,” says Kanodia.
The retailer plans to open two more stores in Gujrat in the next six months.
Eyeing a multi-dimensional growth strategy, Spacio is currently looking to expand its retail footprint across key locations in India. It is also scheduled to open its first store in Mumbai next month. It also plans to add another 50,000 sq ft retail space over 10 exclusive brand stores across India in the current fiscal.
