Housing over 74 international brands and 111 Indian designers, the luxury shopping destination DLF Emporio is now presenting its third edition of a four-day long ubêr-luxurious wedding show, Treasury of Trousseau. This shopping festival will be held from 29 July to 1 August in the premises of the mall.
Speaking to Indiaretailing, Dinaz Madhukar, Senior Vice-president, DLF Emporio shares how this event will help boost revenues and on when DLF’s upcoming luxury project YPCC be operational at Chanakyapuri.
“The event is literally an access to the best designers and stylists of the country such as Aki Narula, Mohan Neelakantan, Niharika Khan among several others who will assist the guests for all their wedding needs — trousseau, honeymoon shopping or a specific gift,” Madhukar said. “Though shoppers in Delhi are fairly wealthy, they may not have right connections and personal access to these designers and stylists. We are attempting to collate and plan the entire process to help them select and choose the right jewellery, couture and shoes.”
“Shoppers will have undivided attention from these stylists. They will help to cull out the best look in the patrons. The show will run continuously for four days. DLF Emporio has brought Mirari on board as a jewellery partner for the event who would be giving out exciting jewellery pieces to some shoppers.”
On being asked about other international brands DLF is planning to add in its portfolio, Madhukar comments, “We have a long waiting list of top-notch brands who wish to enter our space and are also in talks with us on a weekly basis.
Right now, we are working on YPCC, a joint venture with NDMC at the historic Chanakya Cinema location. The structure is up and now we are working on its interiors. Hopefully the mall shall be operational by mid of next year.”
