Being Human in tier II push; to enter Kota, Jalandhar, Rajkot, Jodhpur, Nashik

With 37 exclusive retail outlets in India, which include 11 franchised and 26 company-owned stores, Being Human in liaison with its global licensing partner, the textile and apparel manufacturing company Mandhana Industries Ltd, has expanded its reach in Uttar Pradesh by launching a franchise store at Sahara Gunj Mall in Lucknow.
Referring to the brand’s future expansion plans, Kunal Mehta, VP , Marketing and Business Development, Being Human Clothing says, “We have been focusing on further expansion for the brand this year and debuting in Lucknow is definitely a step ahead for us and customers as well. We are targeting at making Being Human Clothing the most accessible brand by reaching out to various cities in India and will soon be present in cities like Kota, Jalandhar, Rajkot, Jodhpur, Nashik, Pune and Vapi by the end of 2015.”
The brand has made a significant impact in more than 15 countries worldwide with its unique combination of fashion and philanthropy where royalties from the brand support the twin causes of education and healthcare undertaken by Being Human – The Salman Khan Foundation.
Being Human Clothing launched the brand in 2012 in Europe, followed by Middle East and India. As of 2015, Being Human Clothing is available in more than 15 countries worldwide: Bahrain, Belgium, Dammam, Doha, France, India, Jeddah, Jordan, Kuwait, Oman, Pakistan, Riyadh, Spain, South Africa and UAE. The brand has over 300 retail and seven online selling points worldwide, including 220 retail and six online selling points in India.
The turnover of Mandhana Industries Ltd’s was over Rs 1,300 crores in FY 14-15 and a market cap of over Rs 900 crores. With a state-of-art infrastructure, the company is engaged in manufacturing of textiles and garments. Its business includes designing, yarn designing, yarn dyeing, weaving, processing, dyeing and garment manufacturing. The company’s major export markets are Italy, France, Germany, Turkey, Switzerland, The Netherlands, UK, Spain, Australia and Israel.
