Air France India has launched the fourth season of “The Air France Manish Arora Contest” with renowned fashion designer Manish Arora. The contest is already receiving an overwhelming response from aspiring designers from fashion colleges across India. The contest will conclude on February 16, 2015.
Yeshwant Pawar, General Manager-South Asia, Air France-KLM said that, “We were thrilled to be stepping into the fourth season of the ‘The Air France Manish Arora Contest’. We are honored to be a part of an endeavor that encourages young talent and gives them an opportunity to experience the best in international fashion. Further, this initiative also allows us to deepen connect with our customers through social media.”
Manish Arora shared, “I am happy to be associated with Air France India through the fashion contest, which provides a unique opportunity for the students of fashion to showcase their creativity. From the success of the previous three seasons, we have managed to recognize several talents and have selected an intern who is currently working on my upcoming Paris collection.”
There are two ‘Grand Prize Winners’ to be chosen. The first winner will be judged on the basis of the number of votes received and will take home a free economy class return ticket on Air France to Paris as well as an opportunity to witness the Manish Arora show at the coveted Paris Fashion Week. Further, out of the entire list of participants, Manish Arora will choose a participant who will qualify to intern with him for 4 months to work on his Spring Summer 2016 Paris Collection. This year, Air France has something exciting for the voters too. Every three days, the top voter will be awarded with an autographed merchandise from Manish Arora as well as merchandise from Air France.
