Anant Fresh launches at-home delivery model, to open 10 new stores

Anant Fresh Pvt. Ltd, the Haryana-based grocery retail chain, has launched an e-commerce platform to help shoppers conveniently access products from more than 500 local shops every day.
Through its website www.anantfresh.com, the retailer will deliver fresh grocery products (fruits, vegetables, dairy products, packaged food, confectionery, personal care products) in all the major cities in Haryana. Anant Fresh plans to connect all rural areas of the state at a later date as well.
”The rapid growth of e-commerce in India, better web access, changing consumer behavior, buying habits and preference has made a huge potential for the online grocers. Shoppers nowadays look for convenient shopping, more varieties and easy access without dealing with traffic hurdles and parking problems. Thus, e-grocers play a vital role in satisfying today’s customers,” says Manoj Khatri, managing director, Anant Fresh.
“We have developed an international standard and technologically sound e-commerce portal (www.anantfresh.com and 24×7 customer care / phone booking number 8929955555). With this, consumers simply need to place an email or telephonic order, and we will deliver the goods at their homes within 24 working hours,” he adds.
“We have also made a strategic tie-up with nearby kirana stores for back-up delivery services;  in the event we do not have access to a certain location or there is a warehouse delay, a local kirana store will deliver the product without compromising with quality and value. So in a sense we are also creating a business model for mom-n-pop stores as well,” Khatri elaborates.
Referring to the chain’s retail expansion plans, Khatri said, “Our focus will be on Haryana and by the end of this financial year, we are planning to open 10 more retail stores. Some of the stores would be company-owned and some would be franchised in areas  such as Panipat, Hisar, Kurukshetra, Sirsa, Bhadurgarh, Rohtak, Gurgaon, Rewari, Jeend, Faridabad, Palwal, etc.”
“We are also planning to add fashion garments and lifestyle accessories, fresh vegetables and households goods to our bucket in the next few months,” Khatri informed.
