Celebrating the global gender equality and hence practicing the famous saying of Nora Ephron that be the heroine of your life and be not the victim, Geeta Soni, the owner and beauty therapist, Mumal Hair, Beauty and Spa Academy, is trying to take the legacy forward of her teacher, Pushpama Sarla, who taught her the basics of hair and beauty 30 years ago. Mumal Academy’s major focus is to empower women by imparting education in this arena and help women to stand on their own feet and become the bread winner for themselves and the family. Spread across 350 sq ft, Mumal Academy has courses in skin, beauty and body treatments under its umbrella of offerings. “I wish all women to be presentable, confident and high on self-worth and self-esteem no matter how less or high educated they are. I believe in short but meaningful steps to be victorious,” says Soni.
Courses
Mumal Salon and Spa academy offers courses in hair, beauty and body spa therapies. The academy offers three months and a one year course in bridal make-up, photo shoot make -up,personal make- up, hair fall treatments, hair styling and rebonding. The one yearcourse includes a complete package of hair, beauty and body spa courses.

No eligibility criteria; just be a woman.
Fees
The course fee starts from Rs 5,000 and goes upto Rs 35,000.
