Ingene Insights Consultancy suggests the following winterwear trends for the subcontinent. As per the analysis, this Fall-Winter 2014-15 winterwear trends for men are going to take an interesting curve.
The Ingene team says that Neoprene molds will be dominant, as well as camouflaging patterns, fluidity, quilting will adorn. Furry love and biker jackets with the parkas will be there for both men and women. Burgundy will be the major colour this winter besides petrol blue, grey, military green, yellow and silver for men; for women, silver, powder pink, all colour of pastels with velvety black, black-and-white combo as well as leopard print.
Shining in quick silver colour is another highlight, as per Ingene Insights Consultancy. The technological advancement of materials is another key factor this season. Water repellant, waxed treated winterwear will be in vogue. There are few major influencers coming up this season. For the domestic market, Ingene Insights suggests stained pattern, graphics will be hot cake among youth (for men) whereas leopard print and pattern will be dominant in women’s section.
According to Ingene research and analysis, the hybrid nature, that is, mixing of materials, two toned, neo colour block, geometric patches, comical patterns will take the attention of true fashion lovers. Parkas, biker jackets, rock-star vibes, mid-length long coats, hoodies will be dominant with oversized sweaters. The cape and retro essence will be back for women in full swing. Moreover, the grunge effect will be prominent for both men & women silhouette.
