Amazon India Launches Gift Cards

Amazon India has launched Gift Cards on its marketplace Amazon.in which will be issued by gift card provider QwikCilver Solutions. The gift card value falls between Rs 10 and Rs 10,000. Available in over in nine Indian languages including Hindi, Kannada, Marathi, Tamil, Gujarati, Telugu, Malayalam, Bengali & Punjabi, customers can choose from 200 designs for various occasions.

Speaking on the occasion, Srinivas Rao, General Manager – Payments, Amazon India, said: “The Amazon.in Gift Cards offer a gifting experience that is not only easy, simple and convenient but also instantaneous and bridges distances. Customers no longer need to fret over an appropriate choice of gift and especially wonder how to gift to their loved ones in faraway places. With a wide range of Amazon.in Gift Card options customized for various occasions coupled with an extensive  selection of products available on amazon.in, we endeavour to enhance the gifting experience for both the recipient and the giver of the gift.”

Recipients will be able to shop for gifts of their choice from a selection of over 1.5 crore products (excluding ebooks and apps) and get them delivered at their doorstep. A single gift card can be sent to multiple recipients as part of a single order. A total of 25 gift cards can be bought in15 variants at one go and each card is valid for 12 months.
