    ­­Ethnic wear retailer has opened its 150th store in India at Bangalore. Spread over 2,200 sq.ft., the outlet stocks a collection of SKD’s (Salwar Kameez Dupatta), Mix n Match Kurtas, Ready to Stitch Fabrics, by , leggings, Loungers and Biba Girls, a segment catering to 2-12 year old girls.

    Commenting on the launch, , Managing Director, Biba, said: “We are delighted with the launch of our milestone 150th store pan India in Bangalore.     Started by Meena Bindra from her house in Bombay with a partly sum of eight thousand in 1988, Biba entered into a joint venture agreement with fashion designer to promote his premium ethnic wear brand – ‘INDIAN by ’, marking its foray in the bridal and luxury ethnic wear category.

    Currently, Biba products are available through 150 exclusive outlets across 60 cities, apart from presence in all the major retail chains in the country like Shopper’s Stop, Lifestyle, Pantaloons and Central.
