Ethnic wear retailer Biba has opened its 150th store in India at Bangalore. Spread over 2,200 sq.ft., the outlet stocks a collection of SKD’s (Salwar Kameez Dupatta), Mix n Match Kurtas, Ready to Stitch Fabrics, Biba by Rohit Bal, leggings, Loungers and Biba Girls, a segment catering to 2-12 year old girls.

Started by Meena Bindra from her house in Bombay with a partly sum of eight thousand in 1988, Biba entered into a joint venture agreement with fashion designer Manish Arora to promote his premium ethnic wear brand – ‘INDIAN by Manish Arora’, marking its foray in the bridal and luxury ethnic wear category.
Currently, Biba products are available through 150 exclusive outlets across 60 cities, apart from presence in all the major retail chains in the country like Shopper’s Stop, Lifestyle, Pantaloons and Central.
