Plaza Premium Lounge Opens Concept Lounge in New Delhi

Premium Airport Lounge provider Plaza Premium Lounge has opened its latest lounge at Domestic Departures, Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi. Spread over 2,300 sq.ft., it has a seating capacity of 185. According to the company officials, the lounge offers food and beverages, interactive services, and value-added facilities for the comfort and convenience of travellers.

Guests can access the lounge for an entrance fee, interact with the chef at live food counters, stay connected with the USB ports, freshen up using power showers, or avail the spa offering.

Designed by Hong Kong based Architect Kinney Chan, the lounge is divided into several zones to provide travellers with multiple options so that they can tailor their experience according to personal taste. Guests can choose from a variety of seating options such as comfortable sofas to relax on or fully equipped internet workstations for catching up on last minute work. For those looking to unwind, the stand alone bar is the perfect setting.

Speaking on the occasion, Mohan Limbu, Country Manager, India -Plaza Premium Lounge, said: “In our constant endeavour to provide an environment which is conducive to guests’ relaxation and rejuvenation, we are delighted to introduce the new conceptof Plaza Premium Lounge in New Delhi. We have revamped one of our existing lounges, elevating the experience with more customer services. Comfort, innovation and interactivity are at the core of the Plaza Premium Lounge concept and the new lounge is testament to this.”

Plaza Premium Lounge has over 110 locations in 28 international airports. It plans to open 50 new locations in the next two years. There will be Plaza Premium Lounges at London Heathrow’s Terminals 2 and 4 by end of 2014.
