Jumbo King to Sell its 100 Millionth Vada Pav on April 01st

Fast Food restaurant chain Jumbo King will sell its 100 millionth vada pav on April 01st. Founded on August 23, 2001, the brand is now present in Mumbai, Bangalore, Aurangabad, Mysore, Delhi, Amravati, Indore, Raipur, Pune,  and Lucknow.

Commenting on the growth, Dheeraj Gupta, Founder and MD, Jumbo King, said: “We are grateful to our customers for getting us to the 100 millionth milestone. Corn Palak Jumbo King and Schezwan Cheese Jumboking are favorites among the youth all over the country. We maintain hygiene in the quality of the food we supply and keep taste, standardisation and convenience in mind.”

He further added:  “Our state of the art production line was commissioned in April 2011, and is capable of  manufacturing upto 1,00,000 vadas a day. We are always on the lookout for  150-200 sq.ft stores in high traffic areas, mall food courts, railway stations, high streets, college hubs and IT parks. Jumbo King is the ATM of the food industry. We cater to a precise consumer need, when people are on the move. There are larger 2000 sq feet restaurants, more like banks. The consumer today needs banks as well as ATMs.”

Some of the products served at Jumbo King include Corn Palak Jumbo King, Schezwan Cheese Jumbo King, Grilled Cheese Jumbo King, Crispy Veg Jumbo King, and Jumbosa.

According to the company officials, Jumbo King has been focussing on franchising or appointing regional partners, investing considerably, and forging tie-ups to establish a modern frozen supply chain in place.Over the last couple of years, the brand has appointed ‘City Master Franchises’ (CMFs) to partner with its growth programme. The CMF offering is for  partners capable of an initial investment of about Rs 50 lakhs.
