Dalda Relaunches Edible Oil

Dalda, one of India’s most iconic brands, has relaunched its cooking oil range. Dalda oils are zero in cholesterol and contain the nutritional benefits of vitamins A, D & E. The cooking oils are available in variants of refined sunflower, soyabean, mustard and groundnut oil, and will be available to consumers across the country. The product comes with informative packaging in three different formats – food grade plastic pouches, bottles, and jars.

The 75 year old brand enjoys a loyal consumer base in Indi, and is one of the few brands in the country that caters to varied consumer segments ranging from urban markets to homemakers in rural India. The brand was acquired by Bunge India Private Limited in 2003 from Unilever. Dalda uses Bunge’s international technology and expertise to successfully make available Dalda’s range of refined and taste oils in the Indian market.
