As an ongoing commitment to the society and the hairdressing industry, Schwarzkopf Professional, part of Henkel AG & Co. KGaA, Germany this year, has announced a unique campaign for its social program‘Shaping Futures’ under which on the purchase of every Boncaure range of shampoo and conditioner, Schwarzkopf Professional will donate Rupee 1 towards SOS Children’s Villages. This campaign will be promoted in key partner salons across the country.
The initiative ‘Shaping Futures’ started in the year 2010 with a focus on spreading knowledge by teaching deprived young adults basic hairdressing techniques. In the six week training program,which started on October 15, 2013 and will run till November 24, 2013, Janet Maitland, Emily Schofield, Diane Fulton, Susan Hacket, Armando Colucci, along with other chosen hair experts will train a new set of participants in Alibaug, Maharashtra and Bangalore. On the final day of the training, Schwarzkopf Professional will invite all partner salons, giving participants the chance to display their newly acquired skills in front of industry experts.
Shaping Futures is a global initiative conducted in several countries such as Morocco, Peru, Brazil and Latvia.
