Tata Starbucks, the 50:50 joint venture between Starbucks and Tata Global Beverages, has opened its 13th store in Mumbai, 27th in the country, at Santacruz. Spread over 3,500 sq.ft., the outlet has a seating capacity of over 90 and will offer Starbucks signature espresso-based beverages and Starbucks VIA Ready Brew among other items, Starbucks merchandize, and free Wi-Fi.
Speaking on the occasion, Avani Davda, CEO, Tata Starbucks, said: “This store celebrates the unique place that coffee and cinema have in the lives of our customers. The rich store design imbibes Mumbai’s relationship with Indian cinema and reflects our commitment to consistently elevate the Starbucks experience for our customers.”
Starbucks entered the Indian market in October 2012 and currently operates 27 stores in India across Mumbai, Delhi-NCR and Pune. Starbucks stores are operated by the joint venture, Tata Starbucks Limited, and branded as Starbucks Coffee – “A Tata Alliance”.
