Indian Foodtech Plans Retail Expansion and Exports

Delhi-based Indian , manufacturer and exporter of Read-to-Eat and Convenience Foods, is a new entrant in the Ready-to-Cook, Ready-to-Eat, Ready-to- Serve, and Frozen Vegetables segment. The company’s products under the brand Ruhil’s will soon be available in modern trade and retail outlets across the country.

Says , Vice President- Marketing, “Our products have been developed to give consumers the convenience of easy-to-cook/eat meals at unbeatable and authentic taste. Our assortment comprises of all-time Indian favourites like shahi paneer, dal makhni, rajma rasmisa, veg pulao, and moong dal halwa, ready-to-cook products like ginger paste, garlic paste, tikka masala, Madras curry, tandoori paste, ready- to-serve products like tomato ketchup, tomato sauce, jams, pasta and pizza sauces, and frozen vegetables like green peas, beans and carrots, etc to name a few.”
The company’s two plants are situated in the foothills of at Bazpur, Uttrakhand, and the raw material is procured seasonally from local farmers. The products are developed and tested in the company’s state-ofthe- art facility, which is equipped with an online laboratory and automated manufacturing systems imported from world leaders like Lagarde, France, Leepack, Korea; Urshel, USA; and IQF-Octofrost, Sweden.
Says Bhatia, “As a socially and ecologically responsible company, our aim is be a trusted brand of the Indian food industry in domestic and overseas market through manufacturing and marketing of international standard products. Our plants comply with international food and safety management standards, and we have been accredited with ISO 22000 and FSSAI certifi cate issued by the Government of India. We are also a member of APEDA, and our products are approved by HALAL committee and FDA of USA.”
Bhatia informs that the company is also developing private labels for some leading FMCG companies, and will soon be exporting its products to the markets of Middle East, Europe and USA..
