New York-based footwear brand, Steve Madden, has opened its first flagship store in New Delhi at Select Citywalk, Saket. Spread over 1,300 sq.ft., the outlet stocks high heels, boots, stilettos, flats, wedges, and pumps. The store also offers the “Madden Girl” collection for younger girls, Big Buddha bags and accessories, and the Betsey Johnson line of handbags. Bags and accessories for men will also be available in the outlet.
Speaking on the occasion, Jayakumar Subbiah, Business Head, Steve Madden, said: “Steve Madden has always been known for its expertise in trend forecasting and has a large and loyal following across the world. Following the success of the 7 stores launched in the last 12 months across India, we are pleased to announce the opening of the first Steve Madden flagship store in India. The outlet will house the biggest range of Steve Madden nationwide. We look forward to continue to be at the forefront of premium fashion footwear and offer a greater variety of choice to fashion-forward women in India.”
According to the company officials, Steve Madden is the licensee of various brands including Olsenboye for footwear, handbags and belts; Elizabeth and James, l.e.i. and Glo for footwear; and Daisy Fuentes for handbags.
