Touristor Shoes plans to open 12 EBOs this fiscal

East-India based footwear retailer Touristor Shoes plans to open 12 exclusive brand outlets and 15 shop-in-shops in the current fiscal with an investment of Rs 5 crore. The retailer has recently opened stores in Ranchi, Nagpur, Alipurduar, Agartala, and shop-in-shops at Moradabad with an average store size of 1,200 sq.ft. and an investment of Rs 60 lakh per store.

The new outlets have been designed keeping in mind the “One Stop One Shop format.” The new outlets stock formal, semi formal, party wear, casual wear, house wear, and sports wear footwear for men and regular wear, party wear, bridal and sports wear for women. Collections for infant and children are also available at the stores.

Commenting on the new stores, Vedvyas Chhabra, MD, Touristor Shoes, said: “The newly opened stores will not only increase our sales figure, but also become profit-making centres for us in a short span of time. These new doors will help us increase our brand equity through a pan India presence.”

Chhabra further added that the brand’s presence outside Kolkata can be felt at Siliguri, Durgapur, Ranchi, Bhubaneswar, Raipur, Varanasi, Lucknow, Nagpur, and Moradabad. The company will also open stores in Asansol, Alipurduar, Faridabad, Ghaziabad, Delhi, Bhopal, Amritsar, Jalandhar, Lucknow, Mumbai, Vapi, and Hyderabad.
