Women’s western wear brand Latin Quarters to open third store in Mumbai

Women’s western wear fashion brand Latin Quarters (LQ) will open its third store in Mumbai at R-City Mall, Ghatkopar by the end of March. This will be the brand’s eighth store in India. Spread over 1,500 sq.ft., the new outlet will stock pert wear, accessories and handbags.

Speaking about the future plans, Saurabh Jhingan,CEO, Latin Quarters, said: “We are very excited by what the future holds for us. We are looking at a major expansion in tier II and III cities. We are also exploring international markets like south East Asia, Middle East and Northern Africa.”

Sharing his views on funding, Jhingan added: “Currently, we are raising capital internally to fund our upcoming EBO”s although we are also exploring other avenues and are in various stages of discussion with various PE funds to facilitate our growth.”

With the launch of the new store, LQ will have over 46 point of sales across 18 cities all over the country.

Owned by Ikon Retail, Latin Quarters was launched in 2006 with its first store at Square One Mall, Delhi. According to the company officials, LQ would have over 17 exclusive stores and would be available at over 75 point of sales by the end of 2012.
