Shoppers Stop opens 51st store in India, 2nd in Gurgaon

Shoppers Stop, a departmental store chain, has opened its 51st store in India, second in Gurgaon, at Spaze i-Techpark, Sohna Road. This is also the retailers ninth store in Delhi-NCR. Spread over 29,000 sq.ft., the new outlet stocks apparel, cosmetics, perfumes, artificial and fine jewellery, handbags, footwear, personal accessories and kidswear brands.

The new store offers apparel by brands such as US Polo, Austin Reed and NYC; handbags by Paris Hilton and Hidesign; fragrances by Bvlgari, Burberry, Dolce & Gabbana, Gucci, Prada, Versace, Hugo Boss, Jaun Paul Gaultier, Elizabeth Arden, Davidoff and Calvin Klein, and watches by Tommy Hilfiger, DKNY, Esprit, Fossil, Emporio Armani, Guess, Aspen and Kenneth Cole. Exclusive brands of the retailer such as Stop, Kashish, Life, Haute Curry, Elliza Donatein, inSense’, iJeanswear, Mario Zegnoti and Vettorio Fratini are also available in the new outlet.

Speaking on the occasion, Govind Shrikhande, Customer Care Associate and Managing Director, Shoppers Stop, said: “The continued patronage from our Delhi-NCR customers has greatly encouraged us to expand our presence in this region. With spacious interiors and a variety of brands, we are certain that our customers will be delighted to have an additional fashion destination in this city.”

Shrikhande further added: “We enjoy a large base of our loyalty programme, First Citizen members in Delhi-NCR. This new store will cater as a convenient fashion destination for our loyalty programme members who reside in the catchment.”

Shoppers Stop’s First Citizen Loyalty programme offers has over 2.3 million members across the country. Under this scheme, customers get privileges such as facility to redeem their reward points directly at the cash counter, exclusive cash counters for Golden Glow members and sales preview.

Shoppers Stop has 51 stores with over 2.7 million sq.ft. area (including 2 airport stores) in 22 cities including Ahmedabad, Aurangabad, Amritsar, Bengaluru (6 stores), Bhopal, Chennai (3 stores), Delhi (5 stores), Durgapur, Gurgaon (2 stores), Ghaziabad, Hyderabad (4 stores), Indore, Jaipur (2 stores), Kolkata (3 stores), Latur, Lucknow, Mumbai (9 stores), Mysore, Noida, Pune (4 stores), Siliguri and Vijayawada.
