Tile manufacturer OCIL opens boutique in Kolkata

Orient Ceramics and Industries (OCIL), a tile manufacturer, has opened its first Orient Tile Boutique (OTB) in Kolkata on Burdwan Road, Alipore. Spread over 2,500 sq.ft., the boutique offers a wide variety of tiles designed by European designer Maria Jose Castillo for walls, floors, facades, elevation, wet areas and many other living and working spaces.

The new boutique is in line with the rapid expansion plans of the company which aims to open 50 such boutiques across India by 2012.

Speaking on the occasion, Vijay Shankar Sharma, CEO, Orient Ceramics and Industries, said, “This Orient Tile Boutique will provide a unique experience to our valued customers and showcase OCIL’s brands Orient, Stiler and recently launched Orient International – the designer tiles imported from across the globe. The Orient Tile Boutique is designed to create an impression of the actual look and feel of tiles which makes buying and selection process easier. We are continuously working towards our commitment of providing our esteemed customers world class tiles with contemporary aesthetics. ”

Madhur Daga, Executive Director, Orient Ceramics and Industries said that OCIL is looking forward to consolidate its presence in the Eastern and North Eastern markets, and to enhance its already prominent market share in these territories. The Kolkata OTB will also cater to the needs of emerging markets in Orissa and Jharkhand.
