Reliance Digital expands network with seven new stores

Reliance Digital, the consumer durables and electronics arm of Reliance Retail, has opened seven new stores across India in Mumbai, Bhimavaram, Hyderabad, Bhopal, Kolkata, Bangalore and Chennai.

The new outlets offer a wide range of IT accessories, consumer electronics, home appliances and mobile telephony products. It’s first store in Mumbai at Lokandwala, Andheri (W) spreads over 9,000 sq feet stocking more than 5,000 products with over 150 international and national brands.

Commenting on the aggressive expansion, Brian Bade, Chief Executive, Reliance Digital, said: “Keeping in line with our aggressive growth plans, we have added seven new stores to our national presence during the festive season of Diwali and have crossed 50 stores across the country.”

Reliance Retail, a subsidiary of Reliance Industries operates more than 1,000 stores in over 86 cities, spanning 14 states and serving over 2.5 million customers every week.
