AlphaOne opens in Ahmedabad

AlphaOne mega retail and entertainment development in Ahmedabad has recently opened its doors for the people. Developed by Alpha G:Corp Development, the initial investment for AlphaOne, Ahmedabad is over Rs 360 crore for phase-I with hypermarket, big-format retailing, stand-alone boutiques, six-screen multiplex, hospitality, and F&B. It is centrally located at Vastrapur accessible from all sides, especially Ring Road and SG Road.

Dr Prodipta Sen, ED, Marketing, Corporate Affairs and Retail, Alpha G:Corp said: “To make it a win-win experience for every shopper and retailer, we set up innovative systems and procedures based upon sustained research from the time this mega project was finalized. According to our research, consumers in Ahmedabad seek value by way of memorable experiences and hence, world’s best brands would be available under one roof in AlphaOne from 210 stores.”

The total development is close to 1.2 mn sq.ft., of which retail-cum-entertainment is spread across 7,00,000 sq.ft. The mall will work on the rental model of revenue share and minimum guarantee, whichever is higher. The multiplex by Cinepolis is spread across 40,000 sq.ft. The food court named Flavours is operated by AGMSPL. The mall has two basements plus four floors and a parking facility of 224 and 1,033 for four wheelers on surface and basement, respectively.

AlphaOne is maintained and operated by Alpha G:Corp Management Services. Security of the mall is the responsibility of Alpha G:Corp. ARCOP has done the architecture, design, lighting, and landscaping, while ThyssenKrupp has provided the lifts and elevators.

Hypercity, Lifestyle, and Shoppers Stop are the anchor stores at AlphaOne. The mall also houses several other brands like W, Lolipop, Chavda, Estelle, Color Fab, Gini & Jony, Anshu’s Designer Studio and outlets in “Rani No Hajiro” at Gujarati Bazaar. The food court has 10 counters including Chocolate Room, Sambhu’s, Café Bollywood, Dosa Express, Vadaas, Dakshin Dosa Place, Teppenyaki, Nukkad, Midday Munchies, and Chatkaaz.
