Mochi enters Allahabad

Mochi, an Indian footwear brand, has opened its first store at Sardar Patel Marg, Allahabad. Spread over 1,709 sq. ft., the outlet will stock more than 8,000 pairs of ladies’ and men’s shoes in different styles by various brands.

Speaking on the occasion, Farah Bhanji, Executive Director, Mochi, said: “Allahabad is one of the latest hubs of fashion-conscious youth and Mochi can cater to them with its trendy product range as it introduces an average of 100 new styles every week across the country. Consumers today are seeking the latest and best, while at the same time looking for exclusive options that match the latest fashion trends. Mochi now gives them the opportunity to shop for all their fashion needs under one roof. Since the opening of our first store in 2000, we are delighted to see the brand’s increasing popularity among consumers.”

Men’s shoes available in brands like J Fontini, Florsheim, and Reebok are priced between Rs 1,490 and 4,990 while Haute Diva representing the ladies’ footwear costs between Rs. 490 and 4,990. The store will offer 20 percent inaugural discount on all in-house products and 10 percent on other brands till October 1, 2011.

Mochi, the shoe shoppe, has 53 outlets in 32 cities across the country. The brand also offers a range of handbags, mobile cases, belts, socks, as well as Collonil shoe care and Dr. Scholl foot-care products.
