Evok Mega Homestore – the home interiors retail chain from Hindware Home Retail Private Ltd (HHRPL) – has entered South India with the launch of its first store in Hyderabad. Located on Jubilee Hills, the store will provide complete home interiors solution to customers in Hyderabad.
Spread across 10,000 sq.ft, the store will have an outstanding collection of over 16000 contemporary lifestyle products like Home Furniture, Soft Furnishings, Home Décor & Accessories, Modular Kitchens, Laminated Floorings, Bath Fittings and Lightings.
Speaking at the occasion, D K Jairath, COO, Hindware Home Retail (P) Ltd, said, "Our store in Hyderabad will offer customers complete ‘home interiors solutions’ with a wide selection of reasonably priced lifestyle products in modern designs. EVOK Mega Home Stores have received tremendous response in North and West India and we are looking forward to successful innings in the Southern markets too,” he added.
EVOK Mega Home Stores forayed into the organised home retail market of India in 2008 with an estimated investment of Rs. 250 crores. The retail chain currently has a presence across key cities of North and West India, with 10 stores in New Delhi (West and South Delhi), Gurgaon, Faridabad and Ghaziabad; Chandigarh, Lucknow, Pune and Thane. With around additional 8-10 Mega Home Store and 9-10 Super Specialty store operational by end of 2011, the company aims to achieve a turnover of Rs. 400 crores by FY14.
Reaffirming the company’s rigorous expansion plans for India, more EVOK Mega Home Stores will be rolled out in key cities of South India – Bangalore, Chennai, Cochin and Coimbatore. It is also all set to launch more stores in important cities of West and East India- Mumbai, Vaashi, Nasik and Kolkata.
